THE ROOM
An Evening, Not an Event
The evening opens at seven with hors d'oeuvres and wine, offered with our compliments. Patrons select their seats in the Beethoven Room.
Then the lights soften and you stop thinking about your week. For the next hour there is nothing to do but listen, which turns out to be a rarer privilege than it sounds.
Afterward the artist stays. No microphone, no panel, no raised hands. Just the person who made the sound, still in the room, glad to talk about it.

Names You Won't Forget
They could be playing anywhere, and several of them have: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Styriarte Festival, concert halls across Europe and the Americas. Some of them live here. Each was invited for this season in particular, for the program they wanted to bring.

One subscription covers all six concerts, with seats reserved for you at every one. Arrive when you like. If you're coming with someone, you'll be sitting together, even if you walk in at seven.
