I want every student to leave my lessons believing they can do anything. By creating a supportive environment that builds confidence, independence, and a genuine love of music, I help students grow not only as musicians but as confident learners. My goal is for every student to feel that they can achieve anything with patience, practice, and support.

ABOUT
Ms. Joanna
Joanna Escobedo is a Music Education major with a concentration in voice at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where she has studied under Dr. Hunter Holly and Dr. Taylor. Joanna has performed in UTRGV Opera Workshop productions, making her debut as Armelinde in Pauline Viardot's "Cendrillon" in Fall 2023, appearing as the Counsel in Gilbert and Sullivan's "Trial by Jury" in Spring 2024, and most recently as Valencienne in Franz Lehár's "The Merry Widow" in Fall 2025.
Outside of UTRGV, Joanna is a voice instructor at the Brownsville Piano Studio, where she shares her talents and her passion for helping every singer grow.
