Dan Capetillo is a pianist currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Music Education at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Raised in Matamoros, Mexico, his love for music began when he joined his local church choir at 7 years old; since then, music has become a vital part of his daily life.

Dan has performed in a wide range of settings — from his middle school guitar ensemble to the Brownsville Festival Chorus — and as the vocalist of Mariachi Diamante from ROCA, where he also taught piano to students of different ages in private and group settings. He loves sharing his passion for music with every student who walks through the door.
