Elijah Flores's music journey began at a dinner table at Peter Piper Pizza, where a three-year-old grabbed two paper straws and started drumming along to the song on the radio. A drum set arrived that Christmas, and he has been playing ever since.

Mr. Flores spent six years immersed in the world of percussion through his school band programs, performing in honor bands, concert and symphonic bands, marching band, and percussion ensembles, and competing in UIL events across the region. He went on to lead the after-school drumline program at IDEA Riverview and taught at a local music studio, where he discovered his passion for helping students grow their own gifts.

For Mr. Flores, the best part of teaching is watching a student smile as the music clicks — and getting to know each one as a person, not just a player. He builds lessons around relationships first, so every student feels empowered, confident, and motivated to become the musician they dream of being.
