Bring Your BOO to BPS Week!

Buddies must be new to Brownsville Piano Studio (not currently enrolled).

However, if a student is already enrolled in one instrument and wants to join their friend’s lesson on a different instrument (for example, a piano student joining a guitar class), that’s perfectly fine!

• Each student may bring one buddy per lesson.

• Buddies should be around the same age for best engagement and interaction.

Our instructors will adapt the lesson to include a short collaborative activity for both the student and their buddy — no sitting on the sidelines here!

Examples of buddy-friendly activities include:

• Rhythm cup challenges

• Duets or echo songs

• Music note races

• Short ensemble pieces or listening games

Both participants will learn, laugh, and make music together during this special shared experience.

Buddy Week isn’t just about learning — it’s about celebrating music and friendship!

• Prize Wheel: Both the student and their buddy get to spin for a fun treat or small prize.

• Future Musician Certificate: Each buddy will receive a special certificate with a coupon for a free trial lesson at BPS.

• Grand Raffle: Students who bring a buddy will be entered into a grand prize drawing at the end of the week!

Costumes are welcome! 🎃

We encourage students and buddies to dress in festive, school-appropriate Halloween attire that’s comfortable to move and play in.

All lessons this week will include Halloween-themed games and activities, making it a fun and musical celebration for everyone!

All regular studio policies apply, including:

• Punctuality

• Respect toward teachers and peers

• No food or drinks near instruments
