Celebrate Halloween with us at Brownsville Piano Studio by bringing aĀ buddyĀ to your lesson!
Itās a week of fun, music, and prizes ā designed to help students share their love of music with friends.
Rules & Participation Guidelines
RSVP in Advance
Students must notify their instructorĀ at least 24 hours beforeĀ their lesson if they plan to bring a buddy.
When notifying, please include:
Buddyās full name
Buddyās age
This helps your instructor prepare the perfect paired lesson for both students!
Who Can Be a Buddy
Buddies must beĀ new to Brownsville Piano StudioĀ (not currently enrolled).
However, if a student is already enrolled in one instrument and wants to join their friendās lesson on aĀ differentĀ instrument (for example, a piano student joining a guitar class), thatās perfectly fine!
Each student may bringĀ one buddy per lesson.
Buddies should beĀ around the same ageĀ for best engagement and interaction.
Lesson Format
Our instructors will adapt the lesson to include a shortĀ collaborative activityĀ for both the student and their buddy ā no sitting on the sidelines here!
Examples of buddy-friendly activities include:
Rhythm cup challenges
Duets or echo songs
Music note races
Short ensemble pieces or listening games
Both participants will learn, laugh, and make music together during this special shared experience.
Prizes & Incentives
Buddy Week isnāt just about learning ā itās about celebrating music and friendship!
Prize Wheel:Ā Both the student and their buddy get to spin for a fun treat or small prize.
Future Musician Certificate:Ā Each buddy will receive a special certificate with aĀ coupon for a free trial lessonĀ at BPS.
Grand Raffle:Ā Students who bring a buddy will be entered into aĀ grand prize drawingĀ at the end of the week!
Halloween Spirit
Costumes are welcome! š
We encourage students and buddies to dress inĀ festive, school-appropriate Halloween attireĀ thatās comfortable to move and play in.
All lessons this week will includeĀ Halloween-themed games and activities, making it a fun and musical celebration for everyone!
Safety & Conduct
All regular studio policies apply, including:
Punctuality
Respect toward teachers and peers
No food or drinks near instruments
Our goal is to ensure every student and buddy has a fun, safe, and memorable experience.
