Dan Capetillo is a pianist currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Raised in Matamoros, Mexico, his love for music began when he became a member of his local church choir at 7 years old. Since then, music has become a vital part of his daily life. Dan has gained considerable experience performing in various settings, having been a member of the guitar ensemble in middle school, and participating in the Brownsville festival chorus. Currently, he actively performs as the vocalist of Mariachi Diamante from ROCA, where he also had the opportunity to teach students of different ages in private and group settings. He looks forward to working at the Brownsville Piano Studio and share his passion for music with others.
